CivilAxis exists to make everyday structural engineering faster and more reliable: bring the standards you need, the calculations you run, and an AI that understands them together in one platform - from preliminary sizing to detailed design. It is built to be code-agnostic and global, working across Eurocode, American and Vietnamese practice, and it stays precise, code-aware and honest about its assumptions.
Our story
CivilAxis started from a simple frustration: the standards, spreadsheets and reference PDFs an engineer needs are scattered across a dozen places, and every check means re-deriving the same formulas by hand. We wanted one home where the code clauses, the calculations and a knowledgeable assistant live side by side - so more time goes into engineering judgement and less into hunting for a table or rebuilding a spreadsheet.
What began as a handful of Eurocode calculators has grown into a global platform: tools that already speak several codes - Eurocode, American (AISC) and Vietnamese TCVN - alongside a searchable standards library, a structural AI and a community of engineers. Wherever you practise, the goal is the same - trustworthy answers, in your code, in one place.

Every tool is checked against the code it cites and shows its working - the assumptions, the clauses and the intermediate numbers - instead of a bare pass or fail, so you can trust it and defend it. We keep the interface bilingual and the core free for the profession, not locked behind a licence.
And we build to be global. Rather than tie you to one region, we keep widening coverage across Eurocode, American and Vietnamese standards - with more to come - on the same foundation, so a team working across markets can stay in one place.
