Install the CivilAxis app
Adding CivilAxis to your home screen puts an icon on your device so it opens like an app and can send you notifications. It takes just a few taps.
Yes - completely. This does NOT download or install any software, and it is not an app from an app store. It only adds a normal shortcut icon to your home screen (the "Add to Home Screen" feature built into your phone), pointing to the CivilAxis website you already use. It uses almost no storage, asks for no permissions, cannot access your files or contacts, and you can remove it any time by pressing and holding the icon. It is free and always will be.
On Android
Just tap the button - your browser installs CivilAxis in one step.
If the button does nothing, your browser may have hidden the prompt - open the browser menu (⋮) and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
Why so easy? Android and Chrome let a trusted website install itself directly, so the browser can show a built-in "Install" prompt. You tap once and confirm - done.
On iPhone / iPad
Why the extra steps? Apple does not let a website install itself on iPhone - only Safari's own menu can do it, for security. So instead of one tap, you add it yourself from the Share menu. It is exactly as safe - just a couple more taps. Follow the steps below (they work in Safari and in Chrome on iPhone).

Tap the Share button
At the top or bottom of your browser, tap the Share icon - the square with an arrow pointing up (marked 1).

Find "Add to Home Screen"
In the menu that opens, tap "Add to Home Screen" (marked 3). You may need to tap "View Less / More" or scroll a little to see it (marked 2).

Confirm, then open it
Tap "Add" - the CivilAxis icon appears on your home screen. Open it from there, then turn on Browser notifications in the account menu.
